Rebel Moon is playing this Friday, March 12, at Freddy’s Backroom, in the contested Atlantic Yards zone.
We have written new songs on the emerging police state, the death of Rachel Corrie, and the magic of the theatre.
Freddy’s Bar is a beloved gathering place but it’s slated for demolition by the Atlantic Yards project. This is the perfect place for Rebel Moon and you to join the struggle against corporate rule, corruption, and the insouciant capitalist elite.
Lead singer Sander is just coming off a whole weekend at the Treason in America conference, where he was featured on an episode of Nightline, on Sunday. There is a mass movement building in this country for truth and peace. It’s building fast, and their lies about the Pentagon shooter can not stop it.

We are a cross of Leonard Cohen, Hank Williams Sr., Simple Minds, Smiths, and the Sex Pistols.
We mix punk, improv, poetry, folk, theatre, and rock.
Lyrics to the Truther Anthem, "No Conspiracy Theory" are now published here.

We are audience interactive, we get you involved in the show. On 12/10, at our debut show, we talked to the audience in the middle of the set, sparking a lively discussion of environmental issues that were on the collective mind. Then we sat down and wrote a song about this, right on the spot.
it actually WORKED! the grand Moon experiment. Here's what a fan wrote:
"I liked the radically democratic improv song. Glad 'radically democratic' did not mean everyone got two votes, as I originally suspected!"
—S. Ratcliffe
So, when you come to Rebel Moon, bring questions, bring neglected news stories. We will write songs about the audience's ideas, right on the spot!
